Companion Animal Placement Assistance (CAPA) is an all-volunteer non-profit organization that has been partnering with Santa Barbara County to save lives through Lompoc animal shelter adoption since 1987. Our mission is to provide the best care for the animals at the Santa Barbara County Animal Services, including those at the Lompoc pound.
To become a volunteer at the Santa Barbara County Animal Services or support our efforts at the Lompoc shelter, please complete a volunteer application.

Lompoc Animal Shelter: Helping Lost and Found Pets
CAPA is fully funded through donations and grants. Your tax-deductible gift to CAPA is important to the needs of the animals at Santa Barbara County Animal Services.
